hyperemesis?

i have been hospitalized with a sever case of hyperemesis,the worst any doctor has seen around here. i have lost 18 lbs in 4 weeks and have also not been able to take prenatal pills.my question is this...does anyone else out there have unbelievably bad breath along with the hyperemesis?my breath since becoming pregnant has been outragouse and i have an infection in my tonsils,but i constantly have mucus running down my throat and no matter what i do i can't get fresh breath. i carry around gum,pepermint and my tooth brush and tooth paste but it makes me so sick. every morning i am now throwing up the mucus that runs down my throat at night and my breath during the day turns my stomach that i think this may have a huge impact on my hyperemesis.any suggestions people would be great. i have asked so many doctors and they can't give me anything for my throat infection so i need something that is safe.please,i am desperate!

hypermesis is something i know too much about. with this pregnancy, i have been hospitalized a few times. i lost over 20 lbs in 3 weeks and my kidneys almost shut down

bad breath.. yeah mostly because i was spewing my guts soooo much. NO MATTER WHAT i did. there are antibiotics that is safe to take during your pregnancy. check with your OB and if they are not willing tell them the infection is harming your child more then any medication can

The thing that got me eating again... phenergan suppositories.. that helped me sleep during the night and got me eating again. then i was placed on reglan during the day (as soon as i woke up while the phenergan still was working) so i could eat and keep the reglan down. Then taking the reglan during the day.

this has help me keep my meds and pills down. and i have even gained a little more weight. hope you are feeling better soon! and congrats on your little bundle of joy!
