I find if I stand too long or sit too long I get it. It is from the moving of your pelvic bones, the dropping of the baby and even sciatic nerve pain. The only relief I have found is soaking in a tub, other than that there are exercises your doctor can recommend. Good thing its almost over for you, good luck on everything.

I feel your pain - literally - I'm 35 weeks and have excruciating hip pain. My doc recommending a yoga ball - one of those big ones that you can do slight rocking and pelvic tilt excercises. That helps. Also warm baths help take the edge off for me. Hope one of the 2 ideas can help you. Hey only 2 wks to go - best of luck!!

I had the same thing for the 3 months of my pregnancy. The only thing that kept it under control was seeing a chiropractor. I was going up until a few days before my baby was born, and the only reason I stopped was because I was put on bed rest for pre-eclampsia. Otherwise I would have kept going.

I've read that theres something about the hormones in your body that are making the bones in that whole area softer to get ready for birth, I've heard that just sitting with your feet up with a heating pad on your hip will help.

same thing happens to me... it usually subside when i stop moving. take a warm bath when you can, drink water that helped me to. do stretches in the morning and make sure you have support while you are sleeping. if it gets really bad... i'd take a heating pad to it.
