Hiya. With my first baby i was a day before my due date. My baby was large and i just felt so fed up. The midwife made a serious suggestion that me and my partner go home and have sex. We thought it was quite funny but sure enough we did at about 7.30pm that evening. I had an early night at 10pm, felt a weird movement low down and when i woke 12 hours later i went into labour. Perhaps i slept through some of the contractions as she arrived early that evening. My waters broke at 2.30pm that day. I believe it was the sex that bought the labour on as it is the hormones in the sperm that softens your cervix to kick start it. If nothing now, then try again and again. At least you are being able to enjoy yourself though being heavily pregnant! Good luck :)

with your first baby, you may be overdue. Sex does help the labor process, but it may take a lot more than just sex. Try lots of walking and climbing stairs. And remember, once your water has broken...no sex at all!!!
Good luck mommy, your little one will be here soon!!

while i replaced into pregnant with my first daughter, my midwife gave me permission to stay abode as long as I felt replaced into neccesary whether my water had broken as a results of fact i did no longer try advantageous for team B strep. the way she defined it to me replaced into that as a results of fact it replaced into my first toddler, it could probable be a minimum of an standard of 14 hours until now I even gave delivery. with the help of staying abode, a minimum of i must be extra gentle than sitting in a cold scientific institution on a puzzling uncomfortable scientific institution mattress for hours on end. Now, my component is which you could not hassle approximately taking to long to get to the scientific institution after your water breaks, as a results of fact odds are you will nonetheless have many of the thank you to bypass when you get there. contained in relation to unsticking a caught toddler, I advise countless strolling. i understand that's uncomfortable, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it fairly gets issues going. additionally i could advise performing some squats to assist flow the toddler's head into your pelvis(engagement). this could positioned stress on your cervix and inspire it to dilate. Oh, and don't hear to anybody who tells you that relatively spiced nutrition or castor oil will paintings. actually the only subject it is going to do is provide you and dissatisfied abdomen and supply you diarrhea. The diarrhea is the only subject that should motivate your uterus to settlement. then you definately'll in simple terms be depressing. intercourse is huge too. solid luck!!

Do you mean you havent had sex since the time you got pregnant?
Oh I think I get it now. You think sex now will get you into labour. It doesnt usually, but it does give you a way to pass time whilst your waiting.

Didn't work for me, nor did the curry. But I would recommend Nipple Twiddleing. Get your man to use your nipples as if he is trying to tune a radio.

Good luck.
