Ya they go from purple to pink to light pink and eventually they are skin colored and they are just shiny.
Keep using the coco butter. The more moisturized your skin is the less they will show and the better your skin will feel.

Over time stretch marks shrink and lighten. There really isn't much you can do to minimize them or keep them from appearing, especially if your skin is predisposed. One the skin is no longer stretched the appearence of those marks will turn white and fade a bit.

cocoa butter didn't work for me either, and I used a lot of it! pink does mean recent, it will turn more skin color. Ok, this is what worked for me (around belly button after pregnancy) it is called Mederma, cream for scars (over the counter) but it really helped, good luck!

i used Palmer's Coco Butter as quickly as I found out i became pregnant, even until now stretch marks had a super gamble to start. i might rub it on my tummy each and every evening until now mattress (after bathing) and that i nevertheless to this present day have -0- stretch marks from being pregnant. My sis performed the comparable component for her first and he or she is doing it now for her 2d and he or she additionally has -0- stretch marks. good success-

yes pink is recent. and you can drink water to make them not come in at all. or you could use cocoa butter but it takes a long time for that to work so don't give up.

Only time, and lanolin is supposed to help a little.
I developed them in high school while lifting alot of weights.
cocoa butter did not help much and as i read into it cocoa butter is actually too thick (at the molecular level) to reach the damaged tissue. apparently Lanolin is small enough though.
In reality only time truly helps them diminish....sorry

there is no way to prevent stretch marks, people like to believe there is and 60% of pregnant women get them. cocoa butter and lotion only helps with the itch, that's all.
Stretch marks are scars. maderma is good for scars, it is pricy, found at wal-mart in the medicine aisles.

Don't by into any of that lotion crap. My doctor told me that it doesn't work.
He said it is all genetic, it depends on how well genetically your skin can stretch. Some women have a lot more stretch marks than others and that has nothing to do with lotion.
