13 weeks is a little early "by the book", but I felt my baby move for the first time at 14 weeks. Since due dates are not an exact science, you may be a few days (or even a week or two) further along then you think.
And it does feel like butterflies at first, but just wait... in another few months your baby will be using your organs as a trampoline!
Congrats!

Hiya. With my first baby i felt her fluttering at 16 weeks. It was lovely. I am 34 weeks into my pregnancy and my first flutters of him were felt at just 9-10 weeks. This is really early and the midwives think it was because i had a large ovarian cyst at the time pushing the baby forward. I think it is your baby you are feeling jumping around in there! Enjoy!

Usually with first pregnancies it takes longer for a women to experience the first movements of her fetus ( between 16-24 weeks) however there are expections to that.. usually thinner women will experince the flutters much sooner.. and second time moms can experince the flutters as soon as 14 weeks... When ever it happens it is an amazing feeling.. Congradulations!

At 13 weeks I also felt really light fluttering. I didn't feel my baby actually kick until 21 weeks though.
Good luck and congrats!! :)

Sounds like you felt your baby!! My first time around, i didn't feel my son until 21 or 22 weeks (my placenta was in the front, so it took longer than usual). This time, though, I felt my twins moving for the first time at eleven weeks!!!
congratulations!

I felt little bubbles when I was 17 weeks, and it just got stronger and stronger as each week passed! Now those little flutters are replaced with painful jabs & kicks to the ribs and cervix (but it's oh so worth it)!
