It is possible to have subsequent children a little earlier then the first which can often be overdue.. because the body had done the job of child birth before and rememebers it, so it often can accommodate changes easier( dilation, thinning, effacement, and contractions)...However all pregnancies are technically still considered to be due at 40 weeks gestation... but anything thing after 37 weeks is considered term.. hopefully for you that is accurate.. I am 35 weeks and the days just drag, I wouldn't mind going in a few more weeks myself.. Good luck!

My first was 5 weeks early because of PPROM...second was 39 weeks, and third was 38 weeks...I have heard there is usually less chance of being overdue with subsequent pregnancies..but I don't think they keep getting earlier the more you have.

i had my first at 39 weeks and my second was 6 days overdue. i am 33 weeks pregnant with my third. i hope that i have him a little bit earlier then my other two, like 38 weeks would be nice, only because i am so uncomfortable right now.

Mine have been all over the map...when the baby is ready the baby is ready. Mine have been from 2 to 12 days overdue, some went to induction and some didn't. You will probably be in actual LABOR for a shorter time though...no guarantee either but likely.

there's a time decrease of roughly 2 months, then the infant is presumed to be a seperate guy or woman. interior the state healthcare device (eg you're no longer paying) you are able to basically have an abortion in case you have been raped, have evidence which you won't be able to help the youngster and that the end results of having the infant would be unfavourable to the two your lives, or something important.

It depends on baby, the condition of your cervix and uterus. So to answer your question, no not always. I knew a woman who had 3 kids and on her fourth she had to be induced for the first time because baby was overdue.

IMO, your cervix is a little less resiliant, your uterus able to expand quicker and easier, it's entirely possible. No one can predict when your child will be born, unless of course you have it scheduled!
Congrats and best wishes!
