Every child is different. However, the little dresses and hair ties are so cute and fun! Your husband and your daughter will have a very special bond because he'll have his little girl. He will be extremely protective of her-more than your sons! You don't have to take her anywhere. I'd recommend taking each of your kids separately so they have one on one time out and about with mommy and stay at home time with daddy. There's no reason why your daughter can't stay home and watch the game, too. You'll love watching your little girl play too. Chances are, the boys will be protective of her, as opposed to jealous. They have each other and she'll be completely new because she's a girl. Enjoy the new toys in your house. I wouldn't bring her to the salon until she's four or five. You can paint her nails at home much sooner, but she will smudge them so it's not really worth the money. Also, as far as shopping, most girls hate shopping until they are preteens and teens. And by then, you'll be too "uncool" to go with, anyway :-). Have fun with your little girl. You are very lucky!

We had our son first, 5 years later boy/girl twins, I wasn't sure what to do with our little girl. 3 years later, she is the coolest little thing ever. Just like the boys, it comes to you. She's about as girly as it gets, without me really being. And nope, chances are, Dad will find reasons to send the boys with you sometimes to have his little girl watch the game! ;)

oh....that's awesome.congratulations- girls are different than boys, a lot less rough!! although teenage girls are worse, at lease she'll have two brothers to look after her and protect her.
and YES, all that happens. you'll look forward to getting out with your daughter and go shopping. you're very lucky!!!!
