I have just returned from the Peace Corps and have been job searching for the last two months while eating away at my savings. I was offered a job yesterday but it is not really what I want. Nonetheless I am supposed to go in Monday for paperwork. The job I really want is supposed to be making a decision among us three candidates next week. What do I do?? Do I wait for the job I really want, even if I may not get it? I am not as qualified as I thought I would be after the Peace Corps, but I would love it. Or, do I take the safety job even though I don´t like it as much?? Should I call and postpone the meeting on Monday, or be honest and tell them about the opportunity? Or just try to wait it out? Or tell them no?? I don´t know!!
