I solved the previous problem and now , there is no check box next to component !!!!!, I try to highlight the component instead and I do click next, which it shows the progress of installing, but,,but it doesn't ask for XP cd,, and when I check the Administrator tool, there is no sign of the component I expect to install !!!!!!!!

I have managed to solve the sever previous problems which even I couldn't load the add/remove windows component, and getting this message instead [ the netoc file cannot be loaded, error message ' 0x2 at line 2088999592 ' ]

I do appreciate any help.

I have upgraded to XP new edition
pc has pentium 4 , 2 GH
RAM 500 M

when I check the event viewer, it says the following services,
ContentIndex (ContentIndex) service
ContentFilter (ContentFilter) service
ISAPISearch (ISAPISearch) service

removed once and loaded again !!!!!!!!

you are Right ..........!
it's a installation problem's.
No. 1
First u check out ur CD it is ok or not .... i mean some system and dll file loss in ur duplication time or some screeches CD
Then u can try with other windows xp CD

No. 2
ur CD ROM problem.... it is not copy properly
then u contect ur hardware wander. or u can clean ur cd rom lence

No. 3
There are some cases ... if ur HDD or RAM is not Wall then when u can't install windows properly can feash some problem so u can check ur HDD and RAM also.

Re-install Windows.

Hi, make sure u have a right CD 2 use. i mean without scracthes. coz u might have used a cd that missed out some files while in a copying state. Re-install operating system hope everything will be fine.
