I had Windows XP and installed Ubuntu. I don't have the installation disks for XP. I want to switch back to Windows because many things aren't compatible. It's getting annoying.

You don't happen to know if you installed it as a dual boot do you? If you did, you can recover XP, if not, I am afraid you need Install disks.

Note: If you still have the Activation Code for the windows install, you can always use any set of XP disks, without the code, and it isn't a dual boot, well, you know all the words to SOL I guess.

It would be easier to change lead into gold. Linux and Windows use radically different file systems on the hard drive. You have no choice now but to buy a copy of XP and perform a full re-installation.

Linux is only for people who are willing to host a website or do business because most viruses are created for the most famous operating system Microsoft Windows since most programs around the world are fully compatible with windows! That way they are using a a secure less threatened operating system but if you think Linux is just like windows fully compatible and awesome then you must be bluffing!!! I guess all you have to do is download windows again and install it all over!!!
