YES AND RON PAUL IS THAT MAN!!! vote RON PAUL in 2008! his record speaks for itself. I beg you people to vote for Dr. Ron Paul. I don't want to live in a police state!

Ron paul is a libertarian running as a R. thats his only chance. He is not a mainstream republican. don't vote or not vote for someone just because of their party. vote based on the person.

closet democrat? you crazy? he is a TRUE conservative, not a fake or neo-conservative! look him up on youtube! see some of his speeches to congress!

Libertarian all the way baby!!!!

The GOP and Dems have been around too long and have alienated the entire united states. Problem is not enough americans are educated enough about other candidates, its all about media coverage.

Ron Paul is GOP. The GOP doesn't know how to follow the constitution haven't the last 6 years proven that?

Yes, it sure would be nice to have a president (and senators, state reps, etc) who weren't crooks and who actually respected our Constitution.
As for Ron Paul: I respect the hell out of his stances on civil liberties and privacy issues, however I don't know enough about his views on education, health care, foreign policy, environment, etc to say that I'd vote for him. I'd have to find out more first.

If there were any presidential candidates capable of following the constitution we wouldn't need a president. It would be up to the legislative and judicial branches to govern us. Keep asking itself, "could it be worse?' and you will answer yourself, "not really."

What would really be nice is if the person who won the popular vote was allowed to be the president.

We did. In 2000 & 2004.
I don't want him, he is an isolationist & that would be a disaster in the 21st century.

You did, at least twice.

The problem is that following the Constitution doesn't necessarily mean agreeing with you.

That is a problem isn't it?
