Yes! that's what you are experiencing. I had them for several weeks with my first pg, and never felt a thing. I only knew b/c every time my ob hooked me up to the monitor for stress test, he said I was having contrax....though I never knew. My second baby, I never felt any until 36wks....and I said " hey, I actually feel these b/h contrax"....but I was actually in labor! and delivered the next day. I figured out when I woke up the morn after the contrax started it was real b/c they were getting more and more like severe menstrual cramps. Good luck

Yeppers-- those are braxton hicks. I have been going for non stress tests twice weekly since I was 34 weeks and I am now 37 weeks along. While being hooked up to that monitor you can actually see braxton hicks. I have been having them since I have been going for my non stress test three weeks ago and never felt them yet. This is completely harmless-- no worries. The difference on the monitor is that braxton hicks are irregular whereas real contractions are consistant. Good Luck!!!

a lot of women have Braxton hicks and do not feel them at all, where others are in continuous pain because of them
if this is your 2nd or 3rd your more likely to feel them then with your first.
i never knew i was having contractions with my first-i thought the baby was balling up or just moving, i didn't even know i was in labor until my water broke. however, this time around i have been having them terribly since i was 24 weeks-they are driving me nuts. even when i don't feel them someitmes my stomach hardens like that too.

Sure sounds like braxton-hicks! You can't always feel them, actually. I actually had one 3 weeks ago during my 20 week ultrasound. I watched my uterus contrtacting on the screen but I couldn't feel a thing. Now, sometimes they'll hurt like crazy, too! It's all normal :)

i never experienced the feeling of braxton hicks contractions with any of my pregnancies, although they happen to everyone as part of the preparation for birth, if everything else is going smoothly dont worry and enjoy the fact you having no discomfort!
