How do you know if eyeliner is right for you?

put it on one eye not the other and see which one you like better
also try different color eyeliners

I know how you feel when I wore eyeliner for the first time I looked dramatic and my eyes look really innocent like a little girl first I tried putting eyeliner all over my eye I felt different so later on i tried putting it on the corners still didn't work but now I use it on my half of an eye and it works so try different parts of your eyes you never know

Makeup is about personal preference and personal expression. You can give it a try, and see if you like the way you look with it or without it. Maybe you'll be like me and decide that you only like to wear eyeliner to an evening event. By day, I'm happy with simply mascara and don't like to look overdone.

Eyeliner is only right for a woman who either has very sparse or blond eyelashes. If this isn't the case, then I wouldn't wear it.

eyeliner is to balance out the eyes, so use it wherever you need it for your eye shape. you can also get different looks out of mascara that you don't already have--like cat eyes (use dark eyeliner in the corners of your eye, mostly the outer corner), etc.

see if any of your friends have it...try it at a sleepover, or somewhere when you wont see any one for a while.
If none of your friends have it, try to talk to your mom while she is not busy and see if she will recomend any brands.
