Is downloading something from demonoid safe to do?

Is downloading something from demonoid safe to do?Will I get a virus or hidden installed software? Can anyone explain further beyond a "yes" or "no"? Thank you..........

I download an episode of the OC from demonoid yesterday and my computer is fine today so I guess its alright. That was the first time i used that site though, so i cant give you a better answer.

You can, but the likeliness is very low.

You can also get caught by MPAA and the RIAA but thats a whole different topic.
