The color of a person's skin depends on the amount of melanin (pigment) in it. And melanin absorbs some of the potentially dangerous ultraviolet radiation in sunlight, so the darker the skin, the more melanin present, which means more protection. That's why people with dark or olive skin seem to age better. It's the same with Native Americans (like Johnny Depp, who's 1/4 Cherokee & hasn't aged a minute in the past 20 years :p).

Well, stop worrying about celebs, because they have the money to fix their problems. And if they're not "fixing" them, they're covering them up with pounds of makeup...which looks good from far away, but check out some up-close shots of J.Lo and you'll see what I mean.

As for African-American skin not wrinkling, it's because it is not as sensitive to sun. White skin wrinkles due to sun damage (as well as other things...but most sun damage). SO, their "secret" is, if you would even call it a secret, to stay out of the sun or to take care of your skin when you are in the sun.

Celebs have the money to keep themselves wrinkle-free. African woman don't have secrets. Our skin is made tougher then white woman skin.

If you look at most African American hair, they're usually more oily than European hair. If you hair is oily, there's a larger chance that your skin is more oily, and oily skin doesn't wrinkle as much as dry/non-oily skin.

As for celebrities: Botox. =]

ok, i'm not a lady, but one of my white female friends has always told me one reason is because, black people don't believe in laying out in the sun. It's too damaging to the skin.
