King Solomon and Honest Abe attest to the validy of everything passing. How do we know when to expect such an event, either with reference to minor items or events, or major ones?
"The end of the world" does not seem likely, more certainly 'the end of the universe' sounds impossible ("......... the earth abideth forever." Jesus) . So what determins the end of things now existent, and how do we anticipate when it will happen?

Dig deeper, is it likely that anything stays the same? In that sense it already has passed.

Usually that expression is meant to comfort someone who is dealing with grief. One way to get through anything terrible is to know that there is an end in sight. There's no way to tell when it will pass, but just know that it will, eventually. Everyone is different. Time heals all wounds. Such a cliche, but it's true. It just takes some time. A week, a month, a year. The important thing is to move on with your life. Whatever has happened, you can not change the past so don't torture yourself with it. You can't predict the future, so don't worry about it. Live in the moment. Get through today.

I don't know if the world is going to end, I certainly don't know when. Many people have predicted the end before & we're still here...Just enjoy your life & make the most of it. None of us knows how long it will last.

I was going to answer your question, but somehow, it just passed me by.

Seriously, everything changes and Solomon knew that, so do you.

This world will pass in a long time, your world will pass in ninety-nine years if you're lucky. The universe which is made up of the mind of God will abide forever! So will your Soul.

Love;
Jonnie

Patience is the key. Be patienct and you will find your answers. Try not to worry. All you have is today. Yesterday is done and over with. Tomorrow has not even begun. Live life day by day, and at the end of your life, you will find that all of your days have totaled up into a beautiful life.

I really don't know when this will happen it didn't happen on 6-6-06 so maybe 7-7-07 but that was the day of the anti-christ. The end is a new beginning!

As you walk through a days journey on this earth, it has come to pass because it will be tomorrow.

Stop thinking linearly and start thinking cyclically. Now you're in for a ride.
