That some people get mad or jealous when a family member or
friend gets paid better or has a better job then them. Instead of being happy for that person that is progressing in live they always bring negatives remarks like . " i have more responsibilites at my job and you dont. Why do you get paid better.?"
I think most people dont care about progressing in live but once they see someone in there family or friends ,progressing they feel bad and wanting to be better. what do you people think

I think you are exactly right. I think when they see you doing well, it makes them relook at their own career and why they are maybe stagnate. It is not your fault or theirs, it is normal. To stew over it, now that is their problem. When my sister, who had gone to years and years to college, but never graduated, when she saw me the baby of the family graduate, it made her change some of her own things. It made her realize, she needed to move on.

i think its called class envy or just plain ol jealousy. too often ppl think they have to justify their existence. most people want to feel acceptance and a worthiness in their lives. me? personally I respect anyone who has an honest job. I feel that every job is important to some degree or another. I t doesnt matter what you do. you flip burgers? welll then you have provided my lunch. you're a doctor? you may very well save the life of someone I care about. Truck driver? you supply the country. you pick up the trash? thank you. but since none of us had any say in being born I dont feel we should have to justify our existence Btw I work at a restaurant, looking for something better though. but jealousy is in our nature and always will be
