Here's just one of the quotes that he made to FBI agents during a sting operation:
"The thing is, what I'm trying to do is establish the very thing that you talked about. That tie to the district, that's all I need, from then on -- I'm gonna be there 20 years in that goddamn Congress. I don't want to screw it up by some little goddamn thing along the way"

Now, Murtha is the 'point man' for the dems congressional attack against our armed forces and the right arm of Nancy Pelosi who, by the way, promised to 'root out corruption' in congress wherever she finds it! Nice job Nancy.....

You dont have to be a republican or a democrat to know this guy ought to be prosecuted, thrown out of congress & lose his pension!

It is suggested that "all" politicians are corrupt and you can't differentiate degrees betwn them. I don't agree. Not every member of congress stands in guilt of a known crime that was committed but was unpunished.

Oh yes. I don't think there's one informed person that doesn't know about John Murtha's corruption. But you have to understand that this guy opposes Bush! And he stands against our military! To the lunatic left, nothing is more important than that! Forget about his corruption...

I will not be surprised if he does not get reelected in the next election cycle. He is not representative of the views in rural PA. I would be willing to bet money that he will have the same fate as Daschle. He is truly a disgrace to the uniform he once wore.
