Here are the things I always bring along-

Pattern blocks, a nightlight, a flashlight, bright scarfs, any kid's games I might have, books, clothes for dressing up, playdough (if you don't own it you can make it easily-recipes are all over the Internet), and music.

Good luck!!

go to the library and get some kids books to bring. go to a thrift store and buy a few cheap toys.(don't give toys with small parts to young children) a bored game thats age appropriate. maybe some water colors and brushes. stuff to make simple non cook playdough(if you don't mind a bit of a mess) A Frisbee or ball to toss around a backyard. kid friendly music to dance to. you can bring scarves or ribbons to dance with. simple art supplies, such as crayons, markers, glue sticks, glitter, stickers, Popsicle sticks, paper, chalk, pencils, yarn, etc. you can keep it all in a old shoebox.old child friendly magazines or newspaper to make a collage. remember you don't have to bring all of this at once. bring one or two things every time you go. i don't know if this will work for the class, but it works well for actual abysitting, something i once spent a lot of time doing.

Patience, love, understanding, gentle voice, . I think the sitter should make an effort to play with the toys the kids have on hand.
It's easier.

I would take food, drink, list of important phone numbers (eg local hospital), books for kids, treats and maybe a first aid kit.

Your homework for when the kids are asleep
A movie that is entertaining but still appropriate for kids
Snacks so you are not accused of stealing food
That should do it.

In my babysitting journey, it is not mandatory to handle it like a job interview. you could desire to tutor her which you're solid with young ones and you're in charge. in case you sense that is mandatory to deliver workplace work deliver the resume and perhaps a advice from somebody which you babysat for interior the previous. solid luck :)
