I appear to have lost all of my albums from my Nano, after just downloading 1 album (from CD on my PC) this I believe is something to do with Synching. I have'nt got all day to spend on the apple support web site, so wondered if anyone could give me a simple answer/reason why this has happened. I'm sure I am not the only one to have suffered this inconvenience.

thank you

ipod updates music from itunes in 2 modes
1) automatically moves everything from itunes to the ipod
2) manually where you select what you will move to the ipod

it sounds like you went from manual updates to automatic updates when you downloaded that CD. connect the nano and change back to manual update and reload the albums you want.

as quickly as you plug on your ipod click on the element that declares (yout call) ipod. there could be slightly menu thingy, click on the right song, you're able to have a seting that declares sync all songs, in unfavourable to actual checked songs.
