well i was working with my laptop and everything around 2 p.m and i fell asleep and woke up around 715 and when i touched my computer my mouse wasnt working so i restarted it and everything and nothing worked. how do i reboot it? or how else can i fix it i have an acer aspire 3690 and i just got it like 2 weeks ago!

It's looking like your mouse is not detecting. Switch off laptop by holding power button for 10 secs. Unpluged and again restart. then plugged. It will work.

Could be a bunch of things. But an easy try would be to remove the main battery - wait a minute or two - put the main battery back in and try to restart.
Some laptops I've encountered have had some goofiness with sleep modes.
