has anyone ever been a hostess at a fast phase resturant! is it a hard job ?what do u as a hostess i want details thank you?

You will see people at their worst when they are forced to wait on anything and you need to have a calm demeanor, act like you are in control of the situation (even if you feel you are not) with a positive attidude of service.
How hard and stresful depends on where you work; it is it a major chain the rules, guidelines and training layout exactly what is expected of you and it is usually limited to keeping track of patrons on a chart as to who will be seated according to waitresses/tables available and their abilitiy to handle the size of the party. It can be easy if it is a larger establishment during the week, but if popular, will be stressful on Friday and Saturdays.
If it is a smaller establishment, there may be little to no training and you learn to be a negotiator/peacemaker very fast or quit from the stress.

ugh yeah it's hard. you really have to kiss ***, and make sure everyone is acknowledged right away. you have to remember peoples faces and names so when there table is ready, you have know how ling for the next table, it's really hard. just fake it.
