Well it depends mostly for WHAT you are going to use it , so far , ive giving 3 trainings now on VISTA , on difference version. Now vista has some new integrated softwares , new looks and a little more friendly user otherwise its the same has xp . Now vista DOES comes with a new look in terms of SOUND AND VIDEO , yes microsoft so far made a home run with it .

Well to I bought Windows Vista Home basic and I would have been just as happy with XP, but I thought more software in the near future would be geared toward Vista.
