Hey great question, I actually use the Norton from Yahoo! so I can give you the answer. So if you qualify for Norton (I get it through Rogers Yahoo!) you should have a button when you sign into your mail named "my services" and when you click that it gives a list of all of the available services you are offered. Under that area it should say something like security services or something along those terms and all of you have to do is pick the ones you want (e.g. pop up blocker, parental controls, Norton anti virus, Norton firewall) and from there you download and install you're finished and protected! ENJOY!

You have to download the entire software. Note that Norton sucks. You need to consider McAfee 2007

Norton and McAfee, the Internet powerhouse 'darlings' of anti-virus security, both charge you for updates to where it's like bullies "shaking down" you for protection.
Alas...people actually GULP down their scare tatics and keep pouring $$$$$ into their companies. I, for one, don't feel Internet surfers should pay to be protected from the scumbag hackers who DON'T PAY to infect your computer w/ their viruses.
I'm impressed with AVG Free home use anti-virus. It's hard to find, but it's there www.grisoft.com and their updates are FREE!!

Yahoo has an automatic antivirus scan in it's email program.
However, if you want a more in-depth scanner, yes, you have to download the entire program and it isn't free.
If you want a free one, you can try AVG - it's pretty good, and stays resident (runs at all times) on your computer.
There's a link below.
