Hi guys, I want to copy single file(size above 780mb) into cd.how can i split this in to 2 and copy to 2 cds?

The file is video.i want to copy in to 700 mb cd.how to split single file and copy to cd?plz give me a suggestion.

the best way to go about this would be to use a program called WinRar (http://www.rarlab.com/)

Once you install winrar, right click on the file and click on Add to archive...
Then you will see another screen, and in the bottom left hand corner you should see "Split to volumes, bytes"
Select Cd700.

WinRar will automatically compress and divide your file into multiple 700MB files.

in Nero like cd writing software, there is an option called creating Video cd. using that option, it normally compresses your file to fit into cd.

still it won't, then lot free vcd cutter and joiner files are available. use those softwares.

if you want to split the files just use winavi and in the options it lets you split the files to what ever size you want.other than that use Nero over burn
