Most new programs are downward mobile -- example, Word 2003 will open Word 2000, but Word 2000 may not open Word 2003.
Vista should be compatible with MS products. Check this out to see if your program is listed here. Don't forget - Vista just came out - there will probably be many bugs to be worked out over time.

Vista has compatibility matters like MS DOS has compatibility matters. Vista is a very sturdy working device and that i prefer to propose it. no longer each little thing will paintings for it, yet each little thing new does paintings for it.

It's easier to readt the WIndows compatability list, if something isn't on it don;t expect it to work.
