Best answer is dont bother using it, its full of virus spreading programs .
I would recommend using a program called DC++ and then using the many various hubs available in respect of your sharing level. i.e. The more you share the better the hubs that come available.
Hope this helps

Make sure your firewall is either turned off or allows Limewire through. Also, if you are not at home, find out if your service allows Limewire and other p2p programs to run. I know when I am at school, they do not allow it, along with some apartment complexes, ect.

confirm your firewall is down. i won't be in a position to do something with Limewire except I close off my firewall. whilst i'm achieved - I continuously verify which you do coach the firewall back on. you're able to try this via going to regulate panel and dbl clicking on firewall icon. turn it off. same element to coach it back on. stable good fortune and have relaxing downloading. I have fun with limewire yet you by no potential understand what you're easily getting till the get carry of is finished. some issues like video clips have been recorded via somebody attending the movie and the sound high quality is extremely lacking. this is nevertheless a large place to get a large type of stable stuff. have relaxing!!!!

fire wall issues, inside of the modem, type 10.1.1.1 into the address bar hit enter, then look for some firewall settings and turn them all off. you dont REALY need it, your only a home user theres nothing anyone would want to steal.
