seeder means you have the file and are keeping it going(sharing) you can stop when its 100% but try keep it seeding few days, try right clicking on the file you are downloading and changing bandwith to high ,yahoo messenger and other things running can slow it down as its all about what u are using as u download.

Being a seeder helps. Sometimes people will limit how fast you can download from them if you aren't uploading as well. Other things depend on your internet connection, how many things your are trying to grab at once, the size of the thing you are grabbing, the host site, and the program you are using (the tornado one I do believe is fastest, can't remember its full name off hand though)

hi, the speed of BT is primary determined by: 1. how fast your Internet connection is ; 2. whether you have configure your software settings to allow fast upload speed(but don't set upload speed to your maximum internet upload speed that's set by your internet provider) with prerequisite that you have a broadband Internet connection! 3. whether there are many people downloading the particular file that you interest in and whether there are many people already having that complete file and sharing it. This network's working concept is that when you download, you also must upload. The more "seeds"(seed means "a complete file" shared by some users on BT) for a file, the faster your download. The higher upload speed that you allow for other users, the higher download speed is for your downloading. Of course, at the end, all these go back to a basic question--How fast is your Internet connection?

Stop talking about file sharing and keep your nose clean. If you don't know, then read or chat privately instead of asking public for information about doing something illegal.
