Program Error: I Can't Open this Program HELP?

Question

When I try to open the program, I receive this error:

run time error -2147024894 (80070002)
Automation error
System cannot find the file specified

Checking on Google, this error occurs with lots of different programs, not a specific one.

Any way to fix this? Help please!

I can’t give you a specific answer, as I don’t know what program you are referring to. From what I can figure would be the file needed to open the program is missing, corrupted, or installed in the wrong place. If you know the name of the file then you can do a search and see if you have the file and to see where it might be located. If you find it then copy it (don’t move it) to the directory it needs to be in. That directory would normally be in the parent directory of the program you are using.
If all else fails, then re-install or get a less corrupted version of the program you are using.

.Check your documentation. If you do not have any documentation, go to your system administrator. If you do not have a system administrator, you are in a world of hurt. Try contacting the store where you got your equipment (assuming you got it at a store). Maybe the manufacturer has a website that you can contact and ask them.
