It is very cold at those times and when I was there they cut the heat off in my room at night to save on energy.

ive been to china for my winter vacation. It gets really cold. it doesn't really snow in shanghai but u have to cheakc the other parts of china to make sure because other parts of China have a different climate. But during the period ur talking about is pretty cold. Dress warmly

Ive just spent the last 3wks in China and the ave temp in Guangzhou was 10degrees. It is cold and not much different to the UK at the time I went but it does depend on where you are in China.

Depends where you are in the far north wow its cold -15 and more but down here near Hong Kong it is chilly today 10c I will have to put another "T" shirt on, next thing you know I will have to stop wearing my open toed sandals.

If you only go to the south part of China, it is warm enough for you. And if you come to the north -east
like Harbin, then you'll be freezed.
