My HP labtop won't charge anymore. when I plug the battering into it the computer doesn't even aknowledge it. I haven't twisted or deform the battery cord at all and I bought this labtop brand new and it hasn't even been a year. Can anyone help and if this has happened to you, can you please tell me what you did to solve the problem?? Thanxs.

First off, it's a laPtop. I have an HP laptop and I had the same problem. I'll bet the connection (plug) on the back of the computer has broken. It needs to be soldered back on, but it's a difficult and expensive job. Like $300. If it's under warranty, you need to get it in for repair before the warranty runs out.

First of all I hope your laptop is under a warranty because I would bet it is a battery problem. Today, the battery is the component that typically has the most flaws. Just last year, Dell had to recall thousands of Inspirons batteries due to a charging/overheating issues.
If I were you, I would get the serial number of the battery and call hp support and ask them if they would take a lot at it. There is a small chance that the battery made in a certain location may be flawed. Either way, they should take good care of you. HP typically has good customer support.
