dont know cheap but Jegs and Summit racing...or GM crate motor. Buck racing..Talk to other racers and track owners. they know who has good motors...

Go to your Chevrolet dealer and order P/N 19157556 Performance Parts 2006 Catalog. All turn key motors are listed. The 07 catalog will be out in early March. You may want to talk to some one at the parts counter for listings of oval track motors. They are completely fine for street use and they start at $2,800 surprisingly great parts inside, aluminum heads included.

LOL you said the oxymoron of racing. Nothing is cheap. I have a place here in one of my neighbouring cities that build up engines and sells other stock car drivers engines when they move up to other engines. I even know of where a 1972 400 V8 4 bolt main re-builder that is complete long block for around 300 locally here too.
