Recently I ordered some clothes online, on the 12th to be exact. My order was placed and to be shipped standard by FedEx. I'm anxious and attempted to track my order, I have the tracking number but apperently FedEx doesn't recognize it or have the information. I just want to know how long standard shipping from FedEx takes...

I would recommend that you call the place you bought the clothes at and have them confirm the tracking number. You can then go to FedEx's website and track where along the shipping process the package is.

FedEx did buy a ground delivery service so depending on where the package is shipped from and shipped to, it can take about 1 week. If the package was shipped from the northeast or is going to the northeast, it could be delayed a bit by the blizzard that hit a few days ago.

Could be a couple of problems
Are you sure the vendor gave you the correct pin number
Have the goods been shipped by the vendor (Fedex can only track once they pick up and scan the freight) The vendor may have an agreement with Fedex whereby the pin is generated but if the customer only ships once a week it will not appear in the Fedex system (as it has not been picked up)
Origin of the shipment, sometime the vendor ships by USPS or someone else and Fedex only receives the delivery portion of the shipment. I t that case they may not have yet received it.

Depends how far the package is traveling. You can bet that it'll take around 4-8 business days. Good Luck.
