You'll see that Apple sells the Mac Pro and displays separately. Displays start at $699 for a 20" display. These displays are rated very highly. Of course the cost will depend on what size monitor you want plus which Mac Pro you want to get.

Do you mean iMac vs. Mac professional? The iMac is an all-in-one on a similar time as the Mac professional is a pc. The pc processors (Intel Xeons) are greater effective than the buyer processors (center i7. you won't be able to even evaluate the Xeons interior the pros to the middle 2 Duo considering's a quad center processor). The pc is likewise lots greater upgradable and you'd be able to run as much as 4 pics playing cards concurrently, plus have 4 annoying drives. in case you do no longer elect a ton of capability, get the iMac- that's a miles greater effective deal for you. for those that do quite some video processing, animations, or maybe heavy gaming, a Mac professional will make a extensive distinction.

Hello niquie_is_cool,

Maybe I'm mis-understanding you. You sort of sound like you are new to computers, in which case, you probably don't need to spend top dollar on a top-of-the-line computer unless you have some special need for the speed, power, and upgradability of a MacPro and a monitor.

Probably an iMac is all that you would really need for any regular computer needs. Naturally, you can chose which ever Macintosh that you want. It's all good. :-) It's a win-win situation. Best of luck in what ever decision that you chose.
