ok i am 16 going on 17 and i have freckles i totally hate them. I here freckles go away as u age is this true? Or am i stuck with them forever?

they might get lighter ( especially if you stay out of the sun...) but you're always gonna have'em...

My freckles somewhat faded away (barely recognizable) as I got older. However, there are being replaced by age spots on other areas...sigh. You can avoid getting more freckles by staying out of the sun or wear a really high SPF sun screen. Also increase vitamin C intake (via food or pills) because it helps prevent skin damage.
You can lighten them with Alpha-hydroxy acid creams. I heard of lasers, but that can actually change pigments of the skin causing unevenness in color (in other words very risky and might worsen your condition).
Anyways, I've learned to love my remaining freckles (as well as my age spots). It adds a nice texture to my skin and my spots make me who I am.

You will always have freckles. A lot of guy think freckles are pretty or sexy, so maybe you shouldn't feel so bad about having them.

My little nine year old niece has a lot of freckles. All of her life I've told her they were angel kisses and she loves her freckles. Her little sister only has one on her little face and she's so proud of it. God gave them to you for a reason so just think of them as angel kisses.

wear sunscreen everyday and maybe try a fake tan to try and reduce their obviousness, freckles are unique, stop stressing. best of luck

Im the same - I HATE THEM!!! I have tried using fading creams but non of them work. I think mine have faded very slightly (i am now 20). I know they do fade as you get older but i think we just need to stay out of the sun and protect our skin to get the best results we can!!

no it will never disappear, freckles are nice, if i have them it wont worry me at all. so be proud of it.
