I've read on the internet that there are some versions of the game where you don't have too go alone, but are there?

I've been playing Euchre for over 30 years and I've never heard of that. Some people do play some weird versions of it though they probably made up.

No. The way my family and I play it, you can order up your partner and the partner can still play. Now there may be versions of the game that state that if you order your partner you have to go alone, but I don't see where that would be a good thing, your partner could not help you if you needed it.

I've personally never played that way, but people make up new rules for play all the time.

You don't have to go alone if you orde up for your partner. Unless you state beforehand you are alone then you must.
