Should the Yankees trade Carl Pavano or put him in the bullpen so we can put Philip Hughes in the majors?

IF U R A YANKEE FAN U SHOULD KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! BUT ANYWAY LETS GET TO THE POINT I THINK WE SHOULD RELEASE OR TRADE PAVANO BECAUSE PAVANO WILL BE MAKING ALOT OF MONEY (10 MILLION DOLLARS RANGE) AND I HEARD SOME GOOD REPORTS FROM PHILLIP HUGHES SO I THINK HE'S A PRETTY GOOD PITCHER (2 K'S PER INNING IN THE MINORS) IF U LOOK AT HIS STATS HE COULD BE A SOLID PITCHER IN THE FOLLOWING YEARS AND CAN PROBABLY STRIKE OUT 200-300 BATTERS IN THE FUTURE AND CAN PROBABLY K 1 BATTER PER INNING AND A 3.00 ERA PROBABLY WHICH IS NOT A BAD THING AND BEFORE HEADING TO THE MAJORS HE DOMINATED THE A AND AA MINOR LEAGUES WITH A 2.42 ERA SO I GUESS RELEASE OR TRADE PAVANO TO GET LESSEN THE PAYROLL AND WE SHOULD HATE PAVANO MORE CAUSE HE HAVENT DONE A SINGLE **** YET AND WE SHOULDN'T BE PRESSURING A-ROD AND HE WILL HAVE A HUGE BREAKOUT THIS SEASON IF WE DONT PRESSURE HIM AND KEEP HUGHES. GO YANKEES NO.27 IS COMING TO BRONX YANKEE STADIUM!!!!!!!!

NO WAY. Hughes is only 20 years old. They're going to keep him around 175 to 180 inning this whole year, after doing 150 last year. If there's a major injury or major failure you might see him up early but my guess is he'll come up in September to get a little taste of the majors.
Putting him in the rotation from day 1 would be a colossal mistake and could ruin him for the future. Develop him slowly and let him get a taste of pitching in New York before throwing him into the fire.
Due to his contract, Pavano deserves at least one more shot to be in the rotation.

Trading Carl Pavano would be the answer. I hope that Hughes is the real deal because he may get the chance to shine. Pavano sucks big time.

Yea. Philip Hughes is a man for the future. Plus, Pavano hasn't played for so long, who knows how good he still is. If I saw Pavano on the street, I would punch him in the face!

PS: To all Red Sox fans, and other haters, this would be a guy we brought up from the minors, so keep ur mouths shut on that issue.

Keep Pavano and work his market value up during the beginning of the season. Hughes should start off in Triple-A, but be called up possibly later in the season. The Yankees, if they are looking for him to be successful in the long haul, will have to keep an eye on his pitch and inning count to ensure that he doesn't blow out his arm early in his career (Scott Kazmir among others have had this problem).

They should give Pavano a chance. If he screws up, they should put Pavano in the bullpen and if he is ready, bring up Hughes.

Hughes should be in the majors but he's young. as for Carl Pavano whatever he does dis season determines if he stays

i think they should put him in the bullpen, he can still pitch, he just needs some fixing up, after all, he hasn't pitched him in a while. Philip Hughes is good, i think the Yankees would benefit from him being in the majors

I'd hate for the Yanks to rush bringing an arm like hughes up now, and then him not being prepared, blowing out his arm and being useless to us in the future, i think we need to keep him in the minors for 1 more season, then bring him up.

They shoould give him a shot to finally try to prove he can pitch...
But one more nobjob in a car or any other misconduct and bring in Hughes...
