I tried to make an international call and the operater said I'd be charged 150 pence. In regards to U.S. Dollar, what would that be? And is there a currency converter for pence?

150 pence = 1.50 pounds (GBP) = 2.94 US dollars (USD)

There are 100 pence in a £, so that is £2.20p which equals $4.0620.

a pence is 1/100 of a pound. So 150 pence is 1-1/2 pounds - about $3.20 ish (varies day-to-day)

They use the decimal system in the UK so 150 pence is the same as 1.50 pounds.
