If you delete a system folder XP won't work.
Why do you want to do that?

If you really need to, you can - and I can tell you - but they really shouldn't be deleted. If you really need to, and know why you needed to, you'd also know HOW. If you don't know how, then I'm not sure you should.
That said, if you need to, use the command line (or other util) and the attrib.exe program to disable to "System" attribute of the folder (and possibly also the "Hidden" attribute if it's hidden as well, and then you can delete it.
If you need further help, then I would argue you shouldn't be fiddling with it. I'm a software engineer, working with DOS and Windows since the early 1980's, and I don't think I have EVER deleted a system folder, unless it was in the process of rebuilding the drive altogether.

You can't the system will not normally allow you to do it. Every folder in the system folder has function and purpose. But if you just wish to cleanout unused folders from old/deleted application, try using a cleaning application like ccleaner.exe its free find it in the web. Good luck.

I would not suggest to do that. It's something that's needed. You can play with folder options if you were to do that and then click delete.

Don't go there!!! I'd leave well alone, if I were you. You may have all sorts of problems if you do this.
