In order to change your IP, a new computer won't do the trick. Chances are however, you receive an IP address from your ISP, so changing it is virtually impossible (the only way might be to turn off your internet connection -including the router- for a couple of days).

Actually in most cases you don't even ave to change internet providers. I use Yahoo DSL, and every time I reset my router I get a new IP. You might just contact your ISP and find out what it takes to get a new IP. Ask the whether they give you a static (Permanent) or Dynamic (Random) IP.

Is your question:

"How do I change my ISP address"

Simply unplug your router or Modem for up to 30 minutes with it turned off. After 30 minutes or so it will beep and reset your connection. When you now plug in your connection you will have a new ISP.

Alternatively with most modern day broadband your ISP will automatically change with a rebooting (restarting) of your system.

There is no need to buy a new pc.

You can also manually contact your Internet service provider and have it changed.

Hope this helps.

You should try it, unless VMK says if you try to get in again, yur computer will break down! If they don't try what the people say, and if that doesn't work then I guess you need a new computer to get on there!!

If you get banned by something, it is by subnet mask. If your IP changes its possible to get back depending on how they banned you. Getting a new computer will not change your IP, neither will changing your modem.

If you work behind a wireless router then unplug you router for a while or even do a hard reset.
I have had to do this with Ebay a few times.

Check you ip address here:

Unplug your router for 10 minutes or so. Then check it again when you reconnect. Doesn't always work, but does most times for me.

Actually buying a new computer won't work. You have to get a new ip.

your so screwed. They keep track of things like that and if you try to go back, you could be arrested for fraud. The feds will come to your house and seize your computer. Pretty ugly deal. It happened to this guy I knew froms high schools, girlfriends, cousins boyfriend and he told me that it sucked big time.
