How illiteracy can be vanished in India?

Compulsory education to at least a basic level, and subsidies to those who will lose money or worker power when they or workers are off to school during day. Much of the poor education in many parts of India have more to do with inability of kids (or adults, in cases) to leave jobs to work than due to the quality of education.
