Although I study Japanese, I have always considered Russian to be the most beautiful language that I have heard. It's very soothing to listen to someone speak Russian.

I don't know it has a tendency to be brutal, and the accent is very masculine. So from an educated view the answer would be no since all of the "Beauty" languages are of latin descent, like Romanian, Spanish, Italian, French, and I would like to say Portugese is included in that list as well. But from my point of view, yes it is a very lovely language to speak and hear...and i noticed below someone said english is a beautiful language....I don't know I hear english, and it sounds funny, and to complicated, most languages are straight forward to the point you ask, you get your answer, you command it's commanded...English it's a language that beats around the bush and is overly complicated, and painful to learn and understand.

Yes I absolutely love it - I started studying it in September as a GCSE/AS/A Level course (gcse this year (1st year of 6th form) and AS and A level next year). It sounds lovely and I love the letters. It's quite difficult though - they have 4 different verbs for "to go" and you have to have case endings for nominative, accusative just like german or latin (not sure if latin has the same cases)
Just look at the letters - eg. Я хочу купить одежды that means "I love buying clothes (pronounced ya hatchoo coopeets adee-eshj*-dee)
*By this I mean the second "g" sound in "garage"

I absolutely despise the language!
For real it is one of the worst sounding languages. Nothing against Russians etc but really I can't stand it.
I've even learned it for 3 years, because I chose to(not because I had to), but that doesn't change the fact that I have always hated the sound of it.

i don't comprehend yet i think of that Farsi would be far greater exciting for you... properly i comprehend Russian yet i do no longer think of so as that its that desirable... they do no longer probable have that lots descriptive words... :)
