I'm doing a little apartment hunting on craigslist for Long Beach and I was wondering what are the better areas of LB. It's hard to tell by just pictures. What zip codes should I look for?

At least east of Redondo, preferrably east of Ximeno. Stay away for "North Long Beach" or any place "convient to the Long Beach Freeway (710)". Some places on the east side of Long Beach, near the San Diego Freeway (405) are nice and inexpensive. Places close the ocean are very nice but tend to be pricey.

Long Beach, Mississippi??? If so, look under zip code 39501. Almost all of Long Beach is a good area.
