'Cause they all wanna be freakin' North American wannabe kids..
Such posers.
Grow up. It's just another day. You don't need a special day to express your love. If you do it day-by-day, that's special.
They need to chill off on being so white-washed, or trying to think that they are cool, 'cause the fact is that they are jus being weirdo posers.

Tomorrow is 14th february, valentine day.
India is progressing fast today. People of Indian community , wherever they are believe in celebration. they rejoice on every occation. Let it be an Indian festival or any other religion.
Youngsters too take more interest in celebration. Now as the world is becoming smaller every day, western culture is fast influencing our culture.
Valentine day is taken as an opportunity to express their true feelings & built strong relationships.
Secondly, Indians are great enterpreneurs. They never miss the smallest opportunity to earn fast money. So there is big hipe of valentine day from both the aspects.

No one is crazy about Valentines Day in India. Its the fanatics who are trying to highlight the matter for their own selfish gains. Love is expression of one's feeling, it should not be curtailed however it should be kept as pure as possible. Valentines Day is just a means to express ones love to another. Let the lovers have their way and let others not be moral policemen.

OUR SOCIETY IS NOT AS OPEN AS WE THE YOUNGSTERS ARE. WE VE A COMPLETE DIFFERENT STAND FOR THINGS WHICH OUR PARENTS(MAX.) DOES NOT AGREE WITH. WE NEED AN OPPURTUNITY TO CELEBRATE BE IT BE ANYTHING OUR RESULTS OUR APPOINTMENT, ANYTHING.VALENTINE DAY IS JUST AN OCCASION TO CELEBRATE WITH YOUR LOVED ONES (OFFICIALLY). CONSIDERING TEENS, WE ARE EXCITED OVER EVERYTHING WE ARE NEW TO.. ONCE IN COLLEGE OUR HORIZON INCREASES AND THIS CRAZINESS IS A PART OF THIS EXCITEMENT..
I DON FEEL THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT CAUSE ITS WE TEENAGERS WHO NEED TO MOVE AHEAD , CHANGE THE OLD TRENDS AND LIVE WIT AN OPEN THOUGHT. WHAT IS WRONG IN WAITING FOR A DAY TO CELEBRATE WITH YOUR DEAR ONES..IT IS JUST ABOUT HAVING A GALA TIME .. SO GUYS AND GALS COME ON ROLL UR SLEEVES AND ENJOY.. MAINTAINING THE DIGNITY AND CHARM OF THE DAY ENJOY .. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY..

We Indian always celebrate and give respect to the foreign Culture rather than to give respect to his/her own mother and father. When that is the situation why you worry about the Teens.

Indian culture is all about joy and happiness (Utsav Priya). Every day is a festival. They happily accept new festivals, Indian or foreign.

all of us are looking for ways.... to celebrate our freedom...
just breathe... easy... we are free... man...
I have every right to be crazy.. about anything..without disturbing other person's freedom...
I think it is natural...
Another reason might be "Teens Look for freedom"... where as " In thirties.. we start craving for security"....
so if you look through the glass of security you will feel teens are crazy...
