i've been in a car that was about 155 db back in the day. my car is around 145ish, but i'm not going for SPL. also the Jackhammer isnt all that great of a woofer. 3" peak to peak excursion is laughable for a woofer that big. the only thing the jackhammer has going for it is its probably the biggest woofer ever built. its not the loudest by any means. people are dumb.

MTX makes a subwoofer called the Jackhammer. It is a 22" subwoofer that is 21" deep. Basically that largest woofer on the market. I haven't heard it personally but I can't imagine how loud it would be with enough power. Google it, you'll be amazed.

Record so far is just over 180db...I think it was 180.1. Not sure of electronics used but I know they used Kinetik Batteries in the vehicle. Check the Kinetik Power website...they show the vehicle.
