Who makes more money per year, a person who owns a MacDonnal's restaurant with 8-12 seats or the US president?

Assuming you mean "McDonalds", they would never allow a franchise with so few seats! And the salary of a McDonalds restaurant manager is probably on a par with the US President's official "salary", you don't get that job for the pay-check! (Though the benefits are a little better if you are President!)...


(The Pres gets a 'salary' of around $400K. McDonald's employees get stock options/ESPPlan that allow them to clean up if Mickey D's has a good year. Sadly, the president's salary remains the same even if he does a dreadful job!)

As the President's salary is $400,000 per year plus $50,000 for expenses, I seem to think he makes more than a 8-12 seat fast food place. Even if it is McDonalds.

You would have to sell one heck of a lot of Value meals to earn that.

So don't buy the McDonalds. Run for President. What the heck, everyone else is.

no mcdonalds has 8-12 seats. If you can afford a mcdonalds, you probably make a million dollars a year. The president makes about 500,000. But after they retire, they make about 200,000 per apearance at company or corporate functions.

I would guess the person who owns MacDonalds if the store is reasonably successful. The CEO/President of most small to mid-size companies makes more the the US Pres. Go Figure.
