I am trying to save money on grocery items and then household items. Mostly groceries though.

It depends on the size of your household. If you have 4 or more people in your household than it might be worth it. I have 2 and we just didn't need the bulk buying for foot. For cleaning supplies it made sense but that was it.

I go back and forth on this one.... On one hand you basically have to PAY to shop somewhere which is against everything I stand for financially. Are the savings that great? Not really !! You need to know your pricing and go from there. Walmart, K-mart all compare and run specials so help save even more.

On the other hand, there are a few things I can only find at Sam's. I don't know if I am not looking hard enough in other stores but I just can't seem to find some things. Is $35 membership worth it to me to find these things... Sorta.... ha ha !

I am finding that with the super centers of target, walmart & K-mart, I am finding more of MY things in these stores and needing Sam's memebership fee less and less. I jsut don't understand why we would want to pay for a card simply to get in a door and spend more. They offer no incentives for this and the savings are not great just bulk. Looks like I have made my decision to let my membership cancel out !

Go ahead and try it for a year.... Even go in on the membership with 2 friends for you get at least 3 cards. Experience it and find out if its not what its cracked up to be, then simply do not renew the membership when it comes in the mail in 12 months.

Good Luck !!

It is definetely worth it if you have a family of 3 - 4 or more, because you usually buy in bulk, and besides its only about $30.00 a year. They have some "neat" things that you dont find everywhere.

If you need things in bulk, like 400 rolls of toilet paper, 300 ink pens, it's well worth it. Although their meat is really pretty good there, in contrast to Wal-Mart which is horrible for that.

My oppinion is that you could join it. If you save money, then stay a member. If you dont, it isnt worth it. I know alot of people though that say they save alot of money and it is worth it.

NOTE: see if they have a free trial first.

As long as you buy enough and buy on a constant basis. Make sure you check prices though as a lot of items are cheaper a t wal mart than at sam's.

Your welcome.
