What's best for a gaming laptop, 15 or 17 inch screen? I don't want to spend the money for a larger screen unless it makes that big of a difference.

A 17" monitor make a big difference when it comes to gaming on alaptop. For starters it give you 2" more of viewable space. It also tends to have abit fast responce time. The main thing with a laptop you need to keep in mind when it comes to gaming is the video card, you need a video card with 128mb or video memory. The best ones are laptops with seperate video memory. If you look at the specs and it says 256mb ram - shared, that means the video takes ram(memory from the system. You need memory for the video card that is seperate. this will cost more but will give much better gaming proformance.

Hi. I agree with your first answerer. 17". Gaming is unique in that the more visual the experience the more enjoyable it is is. Not so with writing a letter.
