since i've graduated from undergraduate course, i thought it'd be fun to learn another languange. i wanted to learn French but it seems like everyone is learning french. and so i was thinking i should learn someting completely different and i started learning Polish. it's definitely much easier than French, but my brothers and pretty much everyone said i should've learned French instead, because it sounds more beautiful.
should i stop learning Polish and start taking French lessons? or should i do both? it'll be really confusing, because i know those two languages are very different.

Being multi-lingual is common in many countries outside the United States.
It will not be confusing to learn multiple languages. You should learn both languages. It sounds like you have an affinity for language. You may find that you do not want to stop at two! You may want to learn yet more languages. Maybe you will want to be a language major! You could become a linguistic expert, a translator, an ambassador, work for the U.N. or the CIA, or an import/export corporation, or be a high-paid international travel agent. The list of possibilities is endless.
Do not sell yourself short and do not listen to discouraging words. It may be that the people who are discouraging you have never met someone who is multi-lingual. Start with these two languages and see where it takes you.
Bona fortuna! Powodzenia! Succes! Veel geluk! Bonne chance! ¡Buena suerte! and Good Luck!

hmm while French is more popular and useful in the world, Polish is a fresh and different change. So what if everyone says u should do French. You want to do Polish. Easier to learn and it needs more speakers. French is too original for people learning another language.

no longer unavoidably, because French and varnish are not appropriate like French and Spanish are. Having discovered a overseas language previously makes it more straightforward to study yet another interior the experience that you may want to have stepped ahead sensible language getting to understand options and venture fixing skills from the different languages you've discovered, yet basically understanding French received't make getting to understand Polish more straightforward.

I have the same thought that everyone seems to be learning French, and do actually prefer to learn Polish as my next language as soon as I finish Tagalog.
I find Polish a more relaxed language and the country exquisit, which I always incorporate into things I decide to study and learn. France has never held my interest, and the language reminds me a little of bathrooms, for an unknown reason.

think practically, when are you going to get to use the languages... polish is generally only spoken in poland or by select groups aroud the world... french is a major international language, so learning it could open the doors to so many more people!
and i speak polish- its not a nice language! french, although nasal, sounds very nice!

I'm Polish and in my opinion French is very difficult. If I were you, I'd carry on learning Polish and after few years start learning French. Why not!
Powodzenia i wszystkiego dobrego. Cieszę się, że jest ktoś kto chętnie uczy się polskiego! Jestem pewna, że doskonale sobie poradzisz z nauką zarówno polskiego, jak i w przyszłości francuskiego.
