Which types of intermolecular forces would be responsible for the movement of an ionic compound?

I know polarity is one answer... I need at least one more and I have searched everywhere.

If the ionic compound is in water, hydrogen bonding can be a source of movement. Also, van der Waals' forces, such as London forces, cause electrons to form a high density to the side of the molecule closest to a positive charge on another atom.
